Meet Renate.
With advanced degrees from The Juilliard School in collaborative piano performance and New York University in Music Psychotherapy, Renate Tsuyako Rohlfing brings a singular perspective to strategic creativity consulting. Her performing career has taken her to the most prestigious venues around the world, including Carnegie Hall, Amsterdam’s Musiekgebouw, London’s Royal Albert Hall, and the David Koch Theater at Lincoln Center. Renate is a recipient of numerous awards and scholarships for her musicianship, and is in high-demand as a collaborator. This season, she will perform in Germany, Spain, and across the United States.
At NYU, she trained in psychology, group dynamics, neuroscience, and mindfulness practices, and is passionate about using her expertise to empower others to develop their own strengths and skills. Ms. Rohlfing’s research focuses on the impact of music on neurodiverse populations, and is an Associate Professor at Berklee College of Music. She is a native of Honolulu, Hawaii, and loves meeting new people and exploring the outdoors.
